Résumé

This article draws a modest parallel between the Honethian conception of education and the problematic relating to what we can call the deconstruction of foundations. By highlighting the principles according to which, for Axel Honneth, education must allow the reciprocal recognition of individuals, while making possible the deployment of a democratic ethicity, a provisional, evolving and exchange-based ethics, we try to illustrate why a conception of education increasingly linked to the needs of the market seems doomed to failure.
