A support program to help improve the professional integration of teachers in Medellín - Colombia

Résumé
In Colombia, initial teacher education is under the responsibility of Normal Schools and Faculties of Education. Upon completion of training, graduates work in private or public institutions. The professional integration of teachers is a complex stage in their career. However, this step is not framed by public teacher education policies in Colombia. To face the challenges of entering the profession in this country, we are currently developing a support program for new teachers. In this publication we present the first results of an action-research-training program supported by the narrative survey that accompanies the development of this program.
