Mobile Phone Use Among Students and Cheating on Exams in Cameroon Universities

Résumé
The article aims to improve the system of planning academic programs and managing pedagogical activities by investigating the techniques of fraud associated with the use of mobile phones in Cameroonian universities. It seeks to identify the causes of this issue, examine the roles of various stakeholders, assess the consequences, and propose solutions. An analysis of the statements from alleged cheaters and academic officials at the University of Dschang, along with a review of fraud committee records, reveals several underlying causes of this misconduct. To address these issues, a policy for planning academic programs and pedagogical activities is recommended.
